Objectives
Practical training in helicopter fire-fighting and rescue actions.
Course content
- Principles and procedures in working with breathing apparatus.
- Practical session in the use of breathing apparatus.
- Theory of fire fighting and risk during helicopter operations (landing / take off).
- The performance of fire fighting and rescue actions on the helicopter deck.
- Efficient extinguish a helicopter fire and the rescue of persons.
- Rescuing crew and passengers from a burning helicopter with use of breathing apparatus.
- Use of monitors, fire hoses and portable extinguishers.

Prerequisite training
The course participant must be in the possession of a valid certificate or stamp in the PSL of the NOGEPA 2.9A/B
Medical requirement(s)
The course participant must be in the possession of a valid NOGEPA / OGUK / UKOOA / OLF / AWMF approved offshore medical certificate including medical certificate for the use of breathing apparatus.
