The course participant must be in the possession of a valid registration in WINDA of the GWO Working at Heights (basic / refresher).

Intended for

Personnel working on onshore and offshore wind farms during construction and or maintenance.

Objectives

The aims of this course shall give the participants the necessary basic knowledge and skills through theoretical and practical training to use basic PPE and perform safe work at heights and safe and comprehensive basic rescue from heights in a remote wind turbine environment.

Course content

  • Theory and practical training in working safely at heights in wind turbines.
  • Personal escape from the nacelle.
  • Rescue colleagues.
  • Danger of Harness Suspensie Trauma.
  • There is no separate test at the end of this course, as there will be a continuous assessment throughout the training.
