DHTC also organises various courses for the assistance services of companies, (government) organizations and Dutch regional and municipal fire brigades.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Training Facilities<\/h3>\n<p>DHTC\u2019s training facilities include an indoor swimming pool (600m<sup>3<\/sup>) equipped with a heli-dunker, a training platform in the seaport of Den Helder, operating a variety of survival crafts and rescue boats, a large, fully enclosed fire exercise hall with multiple realistic training units, a special building for realistic training for fire brigades and a total of 8 modern equipped classrooms.<\/p>\n<p>These training facilities are located close to the harbour and Den Helder\u2019s major roads. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denhelderairport.nl\/home-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Den Helder Airport<\/a> is \u201cright around the corner\u201d. DHTC is only an hour\u2019s drive from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schiphol.nl\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Schiphol\u00a0Amsterdam Airport<\/a> and Heerenveen (no traffic jams).<\/p>\n<h3>Memberships<\/h3>\n<p>DHTC is member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/iro.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IRO<\/a> (the Association of Dutch Suppliers in the offshore energy industry), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kvnr.nl\/en\/association\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Royal Association of Netherlands Ship-owners<\/a> (associate member) and <a href=\"https:\/\/ayop.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AYOP<\/a>, (the network association for offshore energy in North-Holland).
