Intended for

Personnel working on offshore wind farms during construction and or maintenance.


To train the delegates in acquiring a sufficient level of understanding of circumstances, hazards and skills in relation to safety techniques and basic emergency response actions, while working at (or traveling to and from) an offshore wind location.

Course content

  • GWO Module Sea Survival Refresher.
  • GWO module First Aid Refresher.
  • GWO module Manual Handling Refresher.
  • GWO module Fire Awareness Refresher.
  • GWO module Working at Heights Refresher. This module is provided and certified by our partner Industrieel Klimmen BV, at their training facilities in Wormerveer.

Course details

Prerequisite training
The course participant must be in the possession of a valid registration in WINDA of all GWO Basic Safety Training modules. If valid GWO training certificates are issued before October 17, 2016, we need a copy of these valid GWO certificates before the start of the training.
Medical requirement(s)
No medical certificate required, delegate must be fit for work. A valid Offshore (NOGEPA / OGUK / OLF) medical certificate is advised.
